jobmate launches jobsafe incident reporting app at FORS Annual Conference

Published on 30 Sept 2025

jobmate, a leading UK developer of operational software, is unveiling jobsafe, a workplace incident reporting app designed to transform how organisations capture and manage accident and incident data, with a specific focus on field-based environments.

The new safety app will be launched at the FORS Annual Conference 2025, taking place on 23 October at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham.

“We expect the launch to attract strong interest from transport operators, safety professionals, and managers across a range of sectors,”

says jobmate CEO and founder Chris Dalton.

“Especially when an incident needs to be recorded on a third-party site in real time—ensuring a strong defence if the HSE or legal claims become involved.”

According to Chris, jobsafe has been developed to help organisations improve safety compliance by giving employees a simple mobile app for reporting any type of incident—large or small—with a full audit trail and time-stamped coordination. It empowers workers to act as first responders by capturing critical information immediately after an incident, whether on-site, on the road, or at a customer location.

Accidents, near misses, and hazards can be logged quickly and accurately. The app allows users to take photos, collect witness statements, and gather digital signatures—all in real time.

The system also enables detailed categorisation of events, covering everything from slips, trips, and spills to collisions, property damage, or vehicle defects. A built-in reporting dashboard lets managers view, filter, and track incidents by status, employee, customer, or any other relevant criteria.

Furthermore, says Chris, all data can be exported in CSV format and integrated seamlessly with existing operational or compliance systems.

“The theme of this year’s FORS conference, ‘Future Focus’, aligns perfectly with our new safety tool,”

adds Chris Dalton.

“jobsafe was developed in direct response to customer demand for a fast, intuitive way to manage workplace incidents. It enables businesses to demonstrate due diligence, respond quickly to events, avoid disputes, and ultimately improve safety outcomes for both employers and employees.”

Jobmate will be showcasing jobsafe throughout the event on Stand 18. Delegates can meet the team, see the system in action, and request demonstrations.
