MAN Truck & Bus is now offering its customers a new, exclusive option for charging their electric trucks and buses. The Smart Charging Cube can be operated in a vehicle depot or maintenance yard, as well as in decentralised locations, such as construction sites.
Depending on local conditions, it can be connected to the mains with a current of 32 A to 630 A. The Smart Charging Cube is essentially a battery with power electronics and a charging station. The battery is available with storage capacities ranging from 500 kWh to 1,100 kWh.
Additional Benefits:
- One to four charging points can be implemented per cube
- Maximum charging capacity of 400 kW
- Capable of supplying an external MCS charging station, enabling charging capacities of up to 1,000 kW
