Fastview360 is proud to announce the launch of Smartview360, an innovative fleet technology solution that enables operators to record, monitor and manage footage directly from their existing manufacturer-fitted digital wing mirror cameras.

Revolutionising fleet safety by turning existing digital wing mirrors into fully connected, recordable, remotely accessible camera systems

Modern commercial vehicles are increasingly equipped with digital wing mirrors, providing drivers with enhanced visibility and improved road safety. However, until now, these factory-installed systems have been unable to record footage or provide remote access when incidents occur.

Fastview360 have changed that with the development of Smartview360.

As the first solution of its kind, Smartview360 is compatible with manufacturer-installed mirrorless wing mirror systems, without the need to interfere with the manufacturer system.

Launched at Road Transport Expo with a DAF XD on display, kindly supplied by DAF UK. The show provided visitors and delegates a fantastic opportunity to see the system live in action, take a look at the solution and admire the presence of the new DAF on display at the entrance gates to the show.

With Smartview360, fleets can:

  • Capture – Utilise existing digital wing mirror cameras without installing additional hardware.

  • Connect – Benefit from Fastview360's pioneering technology that captures footage directly from manufacturer digital wing mirrors and add additional vehicle cameras where required.

  • Control – Manage incidents efficiently through FVLink, providing live viewing, remote recording and rapid access to footage whenever it is needed.

For fleets with additional third-party cameras already installed, Smartview360 can integrate these into the same platform, supporting up to eight cameras, including the original manufacturer-supplied cameras. This creates a comprehensive, unified vehicle surveillance solution without unnecessary duplication of equipment.

Key Benefits

  • 99% of footage retrieved first time, remotely in 2025

  • Remote viewing and recording capabilities

  • Integration with existing manufacturer and third-party cameras, so saving costs on replacing expensive hardware

  • Support for up to eight cameras per vehicle

  • Faster incident management through the FVLink platform

  • Reduced installation costs by making use of existing camera infrastructure

Smartview360 has been developed to help fleet operators improve operational efficiency, strengthen safety and gain greater visibility over their vehicles, while maximising the value of the technology already installed by vehicle manufacturers.

By eliminating the need to replace or duplicate factory-fitted digital wing mirror systems, Smartview360 offers a smarter, more cost-effective approach to connected fleet video management.
