Chevin introduces new dashboard for improved fleet control

Published on 07 Jul 2026 • 3 min read

Chevin Fleet Solutions has announced the launch of an all-new FleetWave Dashboard, designed to provide fleet operators with greater visibility of operational data and more flexibility in how information is presented across different teams.

According to Chevin, the new dashboard introduces multi-dashboard functionality, allowing organisations to create separate views based on job role, operational function or business priorities. The company says the development is intended to help fleet, maintenance, compliance and management teams access information that is most relevant to their day-to-day responsibilities, while reducing the need to navigate multiple reporting tools.

The dashboard also enables users to create and configure their own widgets using data already held within the FleetWave platform. Chevin believes this approach gives organisations greater control over how key performance indicators and operational information are monitored, allowing dashboards to be tailored to individual business requirements rather than relying on standardised reporting formats.

"Building on decades of configurable dashboard capability within the FleetWave platform, this latest evolution represents a significant step forward."

says Richard Clark, Global Head of Product at Chevin Fleet Solutions.

"FleetWave has long enabled customers to create custom dashboards, but this development builds on that experience to make information easier to access, configure and share across different teams."

The objective, explains Richard, is to help users surface the insights most relevant to their roles and make faster, more informed decisions.

Among the new capabilities are enhanced drill-down functionality, role-based access controls and dashboard sharing tools, which Chevin says are designed to support collaboration between departments while ensuring users only have access to information appropriate to their responsibilities. The platform also includes a full-screen display mode for operational environments and supports use across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

According to Chevin, the dashboard has been developed in response to the increasing complexity of modern fleet operations, where responsibilities for vehicle management, maintenance, compliance and financial oversight are often spread across multiple teams.

The company believes providing tailored access to data can help organisations improve visibility and decision-making while maintaining governance and control over fleet information.

The all-new FleetWave Dashboard is available within the FleetWave fleet management platform.

"Fleet operators are generating more data than ever before, but the challenge is often ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time."

adds Richard.

"We believe the new dashboard helps address that challenge by allowing organisations to structure information around the way their teams actually work."

Founded in 1990, Chevin Fleet Solutions provides fleet management software to organisations operating vehicle and asset fleets across a wide range of sectors. The company's FleetWave platform is used by organisations in more than 180 countries to manage vehicles, assets, maintenance and compliance activities.
